Ok, so some of the daily deviations suck and the reasons behind that.. well who knows, but in this case is simply ridiculous!
This deviation [link] got a DD after been uploaded 1 day and at the time had 77 pageviews, guess what!? in next day passed from 77 to 4066, nice hum!?

Now checkout what DA says about Daily Deviations.. "...an image which they found impressive or otherwise interesting enough to deserve being brought to the attention of the community-at-large." is this a joke?!

But wait there's more, what happens when you disapprove of a Daily Deviation feature?? pretty much nothing as DA says "...it is highly unlikely it will be removed."

Now this guy is a good artist no doubt about that, but this piece simply sucks, it has critical lighting problems and the lack of modeling skills is simply enormous.

There's a lot of great 3D artists on DA that been around for ages and simply don't have chances like this to show their work, and trust me, I'm not talking about me.

Seems that DD (in some cases) is just a way for some DA staff show off certain deviations for "unclear" reasons.
